Mentorship
One-on-one mentorship throughout the school year from a BWE leader who provides education and guidance as students explore their career aspirations and goals within the industry.
Executive sessions
Access to a series of interactive webinars providing students opportunities to engage with and learn from industry professionals
Paid internship
Internship employment at a BWE office where students will receive real-world professional experience working at one of the largest commercial mortgage banking firms in the country.
Eligibility requirements
Completed applications require a resume, uploaded video of what motivates you, and letter of reference from a professor at applicant's current university. In addition, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be part of an underrepresented group in the commercial real estate industry
Enrolled during the scholarship award year as a full-time student for both semesters and be in good academic standing at an accredited four-year college or university
Focused studies and degree concentration in business related field (real estate and/or finance major is a plus)
*Desire to work in commercial real estate industry post-graduation is desired. Must be a U.S. citizen and demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Application does not gaurantee a scholarship award
